Mafia Wars Codes
Adding to the long list of MMORPG (Massively Online Multiplayer Gaming) is the hugely popular title called Mafia Wars. A free online rpg based game where you as the gamer get to be a 'gangsta', following in the footsteps of Al Capone, and all the others.Userbase is estimated at close to 1 million online players which simply cannot be argued with.
Fighting against other gamers, most are impressed by the classy graphics and on-going visuals in Mafia Wars and while there is some cheating, its not massively widespread. There are however a stack of people chasing up Mafia Wars Codes, which I am not sure if thats for cheating / hacking purposes or purely to get benefits over the free play version of the web game.

The latest talk from the gaming scene has been around the new release 'runescape2' - is this a genuine offering soon to be hitting the free browser based gaming scene? or is it simply a myth and runescape the original will remain the flagship MMO free web game for developer jagex.
The first thing you will notice about runescape, is the sheer amount of gamers behind this aging giant of a fantasy web game.
You can usually see up to 100,000 gamers in the runescape world at any one time.
Because runescape has been around online since the late 90's, their userbase is massive and if they could transition even half of that userbase to a new release such as runescape2 then they would have a handy cash-cow for many years to come.
Runescape2 on a new engine, would allow much better graphics and gaming - as they have had to continue to develop on their older engine which has hampered things at times, however the game developers jagex have done a good job to keep things modern where possible.
Keep your eyes peeled, theres no sign of runescape2 just yet - but it could be right around the gaming corner.

Evony Users Get Angry
A buck in the trend of massive user growth for new MMORPG online game Evony Free Forever, with feedback today that special offers on Evony Game Coins were not followed through - many gamers left frustrated that they not only received their game coins but could not get any feedback from the owners UMGE / Wowmine.
Several emails from worried and frustrated gamers came in, some thinking they had been scammed after some spent as much as $100 on game coins to upgrade their Evony Account - but simply saw no change.
The move should be seen as critical by the software games developer UMGE. They are targeting the paying gamers and if players that actually pay for game coins cannot get service, then the whole thing just won't work. The free players expect service, but if they walk away it doesn't hurt the games owners as much.
When paying gamers walk away from the new MMORPG title, this could spell the end for a long term game that at this stage looks hot.

A great new title a friend told me about is called 'Dog Fight 2' which brought back gaming memories of the plane sim 1942 and also Sopwith (The old air war battle using the Sopwith Camel).
Really good graphics and gameplay that will keep you addicted for hours.
