Concern raced across the Evony gaming community earlier today as rumors suggested that the owners of the game could charge for new accounts as they have seriously cornered the market with their successful game.
With full servers in many cases and sequels ready to roll off the gaming line, existing players are expected to be allowed to play on free - but new accounts for the RTS game may be charged either a one off fee or a nominal monthly subscription rate.
Something similar to World of Warcraft and Everquest.
