Blog posts were suggesting that a large cross-section of evony free forever gamers have recently thrown their hands up and walked away from the game, in many cases just because their evony login was failing (most likely due to demand and lag.)
With increasing traffic across the web to the central evony site, in some cases logging into the game was near impossible. Some frustrated games packed up shop and headed to Fog of War (Napwars) to start an account there, others decided to play online free rpg games instead.
Evony founders UMGE are apparently scrambling to get things back in order and offer alternatives to ensure logins dont fail.
